Description of Events

Peach State Strut Queen

Open to all contestants. Contestants will compete in modeling (costume only/no interview), basic and military. If you are Adv. Military, you must compete in Adv. Peach State Strut Queen.


Miss Georgia Peach Open Pageant

Open to all contestants. Contestants will compete in modeling (no interview) 20% ,  x-strut 40% , and  Solo 40% . Age groups will be combined within divisions for this event. Novice Miss Georgia Peach Open Pageant will be Basic Skills ( Model, Basic Marching, Solo)


Novice Basic Skills Pageant of Georgia

Open only to Georgia residents. Solo status determines eligibility (ideal for new twirlers). 20% modeling in costume (no interview), 40% basic strut, 40% solo.

Beginner/Intermediate Pageant of Georgia

Open only to Georgia residents. Solo status determines Beg. or Int. division. 20% modeling in costume, 40% x-strut, 40% solo.


Miss Majorette of Georgia

Open only to Georgia residents in the Advanced division. Solo status determines eligibility. 20% modeling in dress, 40% x-strut, 40% solo.

General Information

  • No Flash photographs allowed in the gym.
  •  Videotaping is limited to your child’s routine only. No taping of contestants without permission.
  •  NBTA rules, judges, and score sheets will be used.
  •  NO REFUNDS or CREDITS!
  •  Online entries will have a processing fee of 5% per registration.
  •  Contest director and Athens Academy Spartan Center are not responsible for accidents, property loss or injury.
  •  Concessions will be available.
  •  Contestants are responsible for reporting to their lanes on time. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
  •  To eliminate lines at the door contestants will be charged a $30 contest entry fee.
  •  Only contestants and contest officials will be permitted on the competition floor.
  •  Results will be posted in the Band App throughout the event for both individual/team events. Athletes will be given a time to pick up their scoresheets, awards, and   t-shirts This applies to teams as well.

Directions

  • Coming to Athens from the east on Rt. 78: take the Athens By-pass (left turn) and then look for Rt. 441 south towards Watkinsville. Take the loop exit and then continue south towards Watkinsville. At the fourth light, take a left onto Spartan Lane.
  • Coming from Atlanta: take I-85 N to HWY 316 East towards Athens. As you pass the Oconee Connector, merge right onto the Athens By-Pass (Loop 10). Take the next exit (Watkinsville-441 South)-and turn right onto Macon Highway 441 S. At the third light, take a left onto Spartan Lane.
